Mission
The mission of the South Williamsport Area School District’s counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate counseling program that addresses the development of individual potential, help students acquire knowledge and skills as foundations for life-long learning, value themselves as well as others, and function productively in an ever-changing society.

Mrs. Wagner
School Counselor
Grade 7-9
Mrs. Wagner is in her second year at South and enjoying every minute of it! Her focus spreads across academics, career, and personal/social domains. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University and received her Master’s in School Counseling from the University of Scranton. Her goal as a School Counselor for the 2017-2018 school year is to navigate students through career awareness and exploration.
Ms. Shannon
School Counselor
Grades 10-12
Ms. Shannon is in her first year at South and is excited to be joining our community. She will focus on college and career preparation as students plan to graduate during the school year.  She completed her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Bloomsburg University.  Her goal as a School Counselor for the 2017-2018 school year is to increase parental involvement in our School Counseling program.
Mrs. K. Geise
Secretary
Mrs. Geise has been an employee in the district for many years. This is her sixth year working as our School Counseling Secretary. She is able to accommodate students with transcript requests, college and military visits, and so much more!
