In selecting a schedule for next school year, much thought should be given to the abilities of the student as demonstrated in his/her previous years of school, test scores, effort , desire to continue in a given curriculum, and post-secondary plans. Remember, the best single indicator of a student’s future success in school is the past school record.
Parents/guardians and students are also urged to use the checklists indicated by grade level below to make a tentative list of subjects for each year in preparation for further education and/or Career and Technical Education.
